Evaluation:
1. What Health and Safety procedures did you follow in the production of this work?
2. What experiments have you undertaken?
3. What techniques have you used in the production of this body of work.
4. What tools and equipment have you used?
5. How has your understanding of materials developed during the production of this work?
I have taken and passed the H&S Quiz to ensure that the methods I use in my work are not dangerous. The main Health and safty issue for me was having cables lieing arround which could lead to me tripping. I have experimented with a range of media as I set out to do in my statement of intent. I have experimented with things like painted animation, stop frame, white board animation, photographic animation, film, and use of camera angles as well as many other things. The main technique I used was to rotterscope footage I took with paint on a2 paper, I used a projector to display the image onto the paper as a guide. I used equipment such as the projector and a lot of A2 paper. I have also used a panasonic camera to shoot the majority of my footage as well as a still camera to evaluate and record. There was also a film camera I used to do the still image film. The main medium was ink and paint. For undertaking this project I have learnt a great deal about how to use ink and paint. I have also discovered through trial and error the amout of frames nessisary to create a smoth animation. I have learnt a lot about rotersoping and the process of animation. I have spent a lot of time expoling camera angles and shooting footage aswell.
UNIT 02 Develop and adapt ideas creatively
Candidates will draw from a range of sources to explore possible ways forward and will develop them creatively. Candidates will record key stages in their work and will reflect on what they have done, making appropriate changes in response to circumstances and feedback from Tutors and peers. Candidates will follow health & safety procedures when developing and adapting ideas.

2.4
Try out and adapt ideas appropriately in response to circumstances and individual ways of working
Y
The fames that I created are an exploration of what I could do wit the media available.
2.5
Maintain a safe working environment
Y
I have taken the Health and safty Quiz
Evaluation:
6. What source material have you used in the production of this body of work?
7. Where did your ideas come from?
8. What went well? And What didn’t go so well?
9. Give specific examples of how feedback and self evaluation influenced the development of your work.
All of my source material is orrigional footage and photographs I have taken myself. This footge was collected over a few days of shooting with a friend that I used as the main charicter. My ideas where generated from my starting point of boundarys. I started at this point and developed it further. Much of my reaserch is evidenced in my contextual reaserch blog, this is where a lot of my inspiration came from. The colour paint and ink bits of my animation worked very well but I feel the parts drawn on the graphics tablet in photoshop were not quite so effective. The whole final piece could be a little more coherant in terms of sequenceing. Many of the group crits I did changed the direction of my project as people with a fresh view on things spotted potential problems and difficulties with what I was trying to do. My reflective journal served as a place for me to evaluate my work as I went along. My blog has been a major part of my reflective process as I could see what I had so far and what more I needed. I have used gifs throughout my project to display animation sequences online which has been invaluable in visualising what things look like.
UNIT 03 Create, present and review final craft items
In this unit candidates will prepare & produce the final craft item(s) following Health & Safety procedures. Candidates will use materials and techniques and will set their owntargets for making craft items. Candidates will evaluate what they have learnt through the whole craft process and how their final craft item (s) communicates their original ideas and intentions.

Y / N
Final evaluation.
Evaluation:
10. Identify what have you learnt undertaking this body of work?
11. If you were to undertake the work again, what would you do differently?
12. How could you improve the presentation further?
13. What working methodologies have you explored in the production of this work?
I have learnt a lot about working practises and how to evaluate effectivly in a way that helps me develop my project. I have discovered a lot about how to create an effective animation and how to shoot footage that works well for an animation. If I did this project again I would pay more attention to lighting as this was something I neglected to pay much attention to. I would also have got the main story sorted out sooner. I think the final piece would have been improved if I had done the whole thing with couloured paint rather than partly in photoshop. The overall structure of the piece could have been improved and the continuity clearer. I have explored using many different medias and techniques in the process of creating my final piece.
